Hosted by Superintendent Travis Bracht, this episode focuses on the Positive Office Referral Program at Gotsch Intermediate School, which serves grades three through five.

We begin with an insightful conversation with Dr. Christine Powers, the Principal of Gotsch Intermediate, who shares the origins and evolution of the Positive Office Referral Program. She explains how the program, now in its fourth year, recognizes students for adhering to the school's Cougar Code of being respectful, responsible, and safe, as well as for demonstrating kindness, academic achievements, and other important attributes.

The episode also features interviews with classroom teachers Taylor Pierce and Jacqueline Beyer, who discuss the specific behaviors and actions that prompt them to nominate students for positive office referrals. They highlight the importance of peer-to-peer kindness and perseverance in academics.

We also hear from staff members Kim Brown and Katie Burger, who share their experiences and observations about the program's impact on students and the overall school environment. Their stories underscore the joy and pride students feel when recognized for their positive actions.

Finally, we hear directly from the students who have received positive office referrals. They share the reasons for their recognition, from being responsible and kind to excelling in their studies and helping others.

Tune in to learn more about this inspiring initiative that celebrates the everyday excellence of Gotsch Intermediate School's students and staff.
